It's starting to get fun, and the injuries are piling up.  We went 8-6-2 last week ATS, still not profitable, but keeping our head up. Can this be the week where all these teams get their first win?

Another decent week of picks, 8-5-2 ATS.  The NFL sure is exciting this year - do you remember as many return TDs this early in the season?

Titans at Saints
Everybody is waiting for the Saints to get it going.  I am a little shaky on them.  Their O is just not working.  They are passing too much and don't have the balance they had last year.  Hopefully, Deuce is ramped up to 20 carries this week. If they can do that, they can control the game. It's a must win situation.

Redskins at Eagles
I have to think the Eagles are better than last week, no?  I like McNabb to get things going and score some points.  7 is a little fat, but go with the team that should win.

Double Dipper Monday

What's better than a day long football sunday?  Boy that was a good day. Tons of big performances - Romo and Eli, Plaxico and Moss, Gates, even Ronald Curry.  2 monday night games featuring division rivals is just the cherry on top of a great first week.

Ravens at Bengals
This is a tough one. Both teams have high expectations. All indications are that the Ravens got better on offense, while the Bengals still have plenty of questions on D.  I expect some scoring, probably in the upper 40's total. The Ravens will score and I think the Bengals will score just enough to eak it out.

Another tough one.  Everybody thinks these are the 2 up and comers in the NFC. I know the Cards have big holes on D. The Niners are solid on both sides and I think the home field wins out here.

I am not really a Rams fan, but I think the Panthers have some issues. I like the Rams to light up the score board and I don't think the Panthers can keep up.

Remember when the Bronocs laid some early season road eggs last year? I also think they have some issues on D.  The Bills are going to ambush the horses in Buffalo. Sleeper pick of the week.

Everybody is on the Pats to the Superbowl.  But laying a TD on the road in a division rivalry?  No way, the Jets will play tough and keep it close.

Dome Battle

I have been a bit delinquent for the past 9 months, but the season has got me fired up. Here we go:

Saints at Colts
This is going to be a track meet, no if's and or but's.  I think the Saints are actually better this year. They have 1 year in the Payton system. They also have another year of personnel improvements. Don't mistake their defense for the Ravens, but their front 7 is solid.  The Colts seem to have some holes on D, but they always do.  This will go blow for blow and I think the line is a little rich.  Colts eek it out, but don't cover. Colts 38-Saints 35.

Vikes at Packers

The Vikings and Packers were probably not happy preparing in 4 days, but they sure will be happy at home on Christmas Eve and Christmas, while everyone else is playing.  This one is easy. Favre's last home game ever (maybe) and a rookie Qb starting in Lambeau.  Take the Pack to sack the impotent Vikes.
