Clemson at NC State
Another Thursday night in the ACC brings a decent looking game. I have been combing through the numbers and it is pretty clear to me that NC State is the superior team and has some momentum. However, the sharp money is going the other way. The line started at -7.5, quickly moved down to -6, was at -5.5 yesterday, and this morning it is at -4.5 -105. The trends don't help the Wolfpack either, they are 2-10 ATS at home over the last 3 years, and 3-12 ATS as a favorite over the same period. It could go either way and Clemson has hung around in all its games. What I do know is that the NC St. defense is nasty, ranking 22nd in the nation in YPG allowed, and giving up only 18 points per game. I expect another closely fought ACC battle.
