I don't bet baseball during the regular season, but the playoffs are a reason to lay some jack on a Tuesday afternoon.
Red Sox at White Sox
The Red Sox were magical last year, but the playoffs are about pitching. Contreras has not lost since August 15 and is going for his 9th straight win today. He is 11-2 with a 2.96 ERA since the All-star break. As it turns out, Clement grew up in my hometown of Butler, PA and we used to sell baseball cards together at the fleamarket in Lyndora. Although I would like to see Matt win, Boston has only won 3 times in Clement's last 14 starts. Book the White version of the Sox on the moneyline.

Yankees at Angels
The Yanks had to fly cross country on Sunday instead of reading books at home. The Angels take 21 game winner Colon to the mound while the Yanks put up Mussina. Mussina has been shaky recently and they just don't know what they are going to get from him. I like the Angels to ride Big Daddy and the home energy to a win.
