Santana Moss saved us last night and we went 1-1 on our Monday Double Dip. I had another good Sunday and won my wife's office pool again. Clearly I can't keep up the pace. College has been a different story and I fell below the Mendoza line for the first time. Now the lines start tightening up.
Random Thoughts
-The Packers confirmed that they are one of the worst teams in the league. The Texans don't look much better.
-The Bucs look like they are for real. The NFC South could be one of the toughest divisions this year.
-Despite their loss, I still like the Jags to cause some damage. Leftwich is a tough mother scratcher.
-Anyone remember this post on first coach to be fired from August? 12-1 is a pretty good payout.
-The Cards need some help on the O-line, they can't run the ball and Warner is a pinata.
-The Bengals and Steelers will be fighting for the AFC North this year. The Ravens are in trouble on offense.
-I think the Jets and Broncos still stink despite their wins.
-Trent Dilfer - Comeback Player of the Year 2005
-Cadillac Williams - Offensive Rookie of the Year 2005
-What's up with Peyton Manning? Willie Parker and Cadillac are saving me in Fantasy but Peyton better step up.
-The USC offense is better than the Texans, Ravens, and Redskins offenses
-Urban Meyer is making Chris Leak look like a 1st round pick.
-Charlie Weis let me down, that was a typical Irish loss.
-My UCLA Bruins could make a run this year. Let's see if Karl can keep it together in the Pac 10, they always lose at least one they shouldn't.
-Pitt still sucks. I feel bad for Wannstedt.
